Downtown Chaska is fortunate to have a thriving business community even during this time of constant change and two things truly help this community stand strong. The first is our customers who are always thinking local, supporting local and in some cases are local residents who own a business.

Our customers follow businesses on social media and know how they’ve evolved to meet the changing needs, they stay loyal and offer continued support and they share the love they have with others. There isn’t a business community around that hasn’t taken the 2020 lemons and figured out how to make world class lemonade. Our businesses have created websites for business types that don’t normally support online shopping, they done live shopping events via social media and implemented curbside and delivery services to safely allow customers to shop.

Given the constantly evolving times it could be a long dark winter for local businesses unless we step up and continue to support them so come downtown and safely shop, visit the many winter attractions and grab takeout for dinner at home. Even better pledge to support the 5for25 initiative by spending $25 each in 5 businesses between now and February 28th. Thank you from the bottom of our business communities hearts!
