rougefortyone is a craft cocktail lounge & speakeasy in Chaska that opened almost a year ago.
It’s located on the corner of Chestnut & W 5th St – attached to its sister spot, redbenchbakery.
rougefortyone was designed + developed by co-owners _andy_mooney, his wife mooneykj, Sister-in-Law Kimberley & Brother-In-Law Andrew.
Andy is a Chef with 20+ years of experience running kitchens & baking in Hotels, Restaurants, Bakeries & Local Markets around MN.
Andy opened redbenchbakery in Chaska in 2017, 2 years later added another location in Excelsior & in 2024 opened up rougefortyone as a new venture.
Kimberley is a veteran Bar Manager & a Level 1 Sommelier.
Together, their team has curated an incredible experience with sophisticated ambiance, innovative drinks, tasty food & great customer service.
While the focus is on the cocktails, Rouge 41 also offers a small but outstanding food menu.
The emphasis on quality over quantity in the food menu ensures that each item served is a delightful culinary experience.
BUT, the true star of rougefortyone is the impressive cocktail menu.
For the best experience, you gotta sit at the bar, that’s always my go-to spot at most establishments… especially if you’re going there for a drink!
The artistry & care that go into each drink are evident, making the experience of watching them being made at the bar, just part of the experience.
The atmosphere is “chill” and a perfect way to relax on your special night out.
The space is small, so there is limited table seating.
